Training / Workshops
| • | Our training and workshops help give people the confidence and security in their own cultural identity, and encourage dialog and interaction with communities they would deem as alien to their own. In doing so we are helping break down long-held myths and begin to develop trusting relationships. |
| • | We help establish a network of contacts between the leaders of groups on all sides of the community to facilitate the development of cross-community cross –border partnerships. |
| • | We strengthen groups through single identity workshops that examine their political, social and cultural history and traditions. |
| • | We help the groups to gain a greater understanding of their own emigrant Northern Irish, Ulster Scots and Irish traditions (both Protestant and Catholic) to countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, etc. we are at present building strong connections with the Scots / Irish and Ulster Scots Diaspora across North America. |
| • | A key to our group work is not necessarily just about facilitating people from different backgrounds and addressing insecurities over identity and difference. We help build their self-confidence as individuals and encourage them to take pride in who they are and in their communities. |
